Make Plywood Garage Door
Make a diy garage door out of old cabinetry with recessed panels.
Make plywood garage door. We needed a replacement garage door and i perfer one that swings out so i can use. Additional material would be some solid wood for the edges and trim. I figured i could get a 2 4 door from this sheet with some to spare. Screw cabinet doors that have recessed panels on them to the plywood doors.
Constructing this on the ground will make attaching and leveling the doors much easier. Place a section of the boards along all edges of the plywood as if making a frame. It is virtually void free very smooth and flat. This will add architectural detail to the doors.
The plywood is g1s good one side pine plywood. And this is the raw material a 4 x 8 sheet of 1 2 plywood. I love to make things myself and especially saving money doing it myself. While still on the ground attach the doors with four hinges each using a self centering bit image 1.
Cut plywood to make the doors to fit these openings. Start with a plywood base and form two doors from the plywood. Secure the lumber with 1 inch screws using a cordless screwdriver.
